NBEPar discusses partnerships at IAEA

Leaders of the Brazil Energy Participações Center (NBEPar) were present at the 69th National Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), held in Vienna, Austria, from September 15 to 19.

In a meeting with the director general of the IAEA, Rafael Mariano Grossi, they dealt with the agency’s cooperation with the company in studies on thermodynamic generation from SMR (smallmodular reactor) and in the development project of the microreactornuclear.

The nuclear technologies of the projects that NBEPar is researching were the subject of meetings at the IAEA Conference, the world’s largest forum dedicated to cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, bringing together governments, scientists and experts to discuss security, technological innovation, non-proliferation of weapons and the challenges of energy sustainability.
