NBEPar signs protocol with AMAZUL

Núcleo Brasil Energia Participações (NBEPar) signed with AMAZUL – Amazônia Azul Tecnologias de Defesa S.A. a protocol of intentions to identify areas of common interest aimed at services and products intended for nuclear activities, aligned with the social objects of the parties and the Brazilian Nuclear Program.

The initiative reinforces NBEPar’s commitment to build partnerships with public and private companies to ensure in Brazil a supply chain for nuclear power generation and foster high-value-added industrial solutions.

The companies will hold technical meetings, visits and joint analyses to map opportunities in areas involving services, products and components related to nuclear activity. There will be no transfer of resources or exchange of technical documents.
Controlled by Diamante Holding Participações Ltda, a group that has been operating for six decades in the area of power generation, NBEPar is the first private Brazilian company in the nuclear sector, with fully national capital. The company operates on four main fronts: mining, nuclear fuel cycle, microreactors development and food irradiation.

NBEPar also controls Terminus Research and Development in Energia S.A., which projects a nuclear microreactor, with the support of Finep – Funder of Studies and Projects, universities, research institutes and state-owned and private companies.
