NBEPar and Rosatom have created joint venture to explore strategic minerals
- 25 de March de 2026

NBEPar – Núcleo Brasil Energia Participações, holding company of the Diamond Group in the nuclear sector, and Uranium One Group JSC, a subsidiary of the Russian state-owned Rosatom, signed an agreement for the creation of the Nadina Minerals joint venture. The company will focus on the development of critical and strategic mineral exploration projects in Brazil.
Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, Nadina Minerals will act in an integrated way throughout the production chain, from geological prospecting to the development of advanced processing routes. The proposal is to combine the local knowledge of NBEPar with the international experience of Uranium One, one of the world’s largest uranium miners, with operations in Kazakhstan,
Tanzania and Namibia.

NBEPar aims to foster partnerships, expand the participation of the private initiative in projects aimed at nuclear energy and attract investments that strengthen the sector at national and international level. One of the vectors of this action, in charge of Nadina, will be the mapping in national territory to identify areas with mineral resource potential, the exploitation and preparation of strategic minerals for the nuclear cycle. The planning
strategic holding is in line with the growing global demand for inputs essential to the energy transition.
NBEPar already has areas requested in the ANM – National Mining Agency to do research and mapping of mineral reserves.
In addition to Nadina Minerals, NBEPar controls Terminus, responsible for the development of the country’s first nuclear microreactor.
